ARE WE ALONE?

You have put a contract on the house of your dreams. Farmhouse shiplap, glass front cabinets, floating shelving, granite counter tops, and southern heart pine floors, it is perfect. BUT, your inspection reveals someone is already living there. The house is on the market, the previous owners have already moved out of state, but your house is not empty. You are NOT ALONE. The inspection of your crawlspace reveals the outhouse section of your unwanted tenants. How in the world are they getting in? Often A/C units are set on pre-formed pads and flashing covers the ductwork between the unit and the house. Critters look for entry points because it is warm and dry under your house. Check these areas around your unit, if it looks like something has been digging there, you might have vagrants. This is just one of the things a home inspection uncovers.
