Standard Home Inspection:
I adhere to a thorough Residential Standards of Practice. I inspect the entire home, both inside and out, using advanced tools. I compile my findings in an easy-to-read report with detailed descriptions and photos of any issues. You'll receive the report within 24 hours, and I'm committed to ensuring your complete understanding.

WDO Termite Inspection:
Wood-destroying insects can cause serious damage to the wooden structural components of a house. They can hide and go undetected for a long time, but there are many telltale signs for different species that indicate their presence. I’ll inspect your home for evidence of infestation now before it becomes an expensive problem later.

Radon Gas Testing: $50
Radon is a natural gas and the second leading cause of lung cancer deaths in the U.S. Approximately 1 in 15 homes has high radon levels. The Surgeon General and EPA advise testing all houses. Join millions of Americans and get your home tested for radon.

Mold Inspection:
Unchecked indoor mold can damage the home's structure, cause wood rot, and ruin drywall. Moreover, it poses health risks. A professional mold test begins with a thorough property inspection, investigating signs of water intrusion and collecting samples for lab analysis.
Infrared Thermal Imaging Inspection:
I use an advanced infrared camera to uncover hidden issues. It translates heat signatures into colors, revealing energy loss, moisture intrusion, electrical hot spots, pests, and flue leaks.

Commercial Building Inspection:
A commercial building inspection is meant to identify the current condition of the property as well as the cost that must be paid to make any of the necessary repairs. ... Everything from the interior of the building to the ventilation and air conditioning system will be checked during a commercial building inspection.

Roof Inspection:
Do you need just a roof inspection performed for insurance or other purposes? I will perform a standalone Roof Inspection & Certification and evaluate your roof from the eaves, as well as walk it (when it is safe to do so) to assess its overall condition, including the presence and status of flashing, chimneys, vents, skylights, and other penetrations.

Pre-Drywall Inspection:
To ensure a house is built correctly, a pre-drywall inspection is recommended. It occurs after installing key elements like doors, windows, foundation, flooring, and before hanging drywall. This inspection is crucial as it helps identify and address issues before they become costly to fix once the house is fully finished.

4-Point Inspection:
Insurance companies often require a 4-Point Inspection for older homes. It covers the roof, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, assessing their components, age, and condition. It's necessary for homeowner's insurance and policy renewals.

Wind Mitigation Inspection:
Wind mitigation limits wind damage to homes. Insurance companies offer incentives like premium discounts for implementing specific protections. A Wind Mitigation Inspection verifies improvements, helping you qualify for credits and discounts.

Healthy Home Inspection:
Scientific evidence demonstrates a solid relationship between housing conditions and human health. Studies on the economic burden of specific defects in homes show costs rising into the billions of dollars annually. Defects in the home contribute to both poor health and the economic burdens on society at large.

Drone Inspection:
I use a state-of-the-art, camera-mounted unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone to capture images of unsafe or hard-to-access areas, such as tall roofs. I can get an up-close look at any issues and defects that would otherwise not be properly inspected and reported. I can also take aerial photos of the property for real estate listings and informational purposes.

Moisture Inspection:
Moisture meters detect and measure moisture in building materials. I use them to check areas near plumbing, AC units, bathrooms, and wooden components in contact with the ground. Appliances can cause leaks or condensation, leading to elevated moisture levels. With a moisture meter, I locate the source of moisture issues.

Plumbing Inspection:
A plumbing inspection is a systematic process of assessing the critical areas of the plumbing system of a property. It is performed by certified plumbers to avoid the risk of pipe corrosion, clogs, leaks, and burst tubes that can cause flooding and property damage.

Private Well Inspection:
Our Private Well Inspection service is designed to ensure that you have clean, safe drinking water in your home. Our experienced inspectors conduct a thorough inspection of your private well to identify any potential issues.
New Construction Inspection:
Building a new home? I provide inspections at different construction phases to ensure compliance with your specifications. I verify completed work before payment and assist in creating a punch list. This is a New Construction Inspection for you, not a code-compliance check for the contractor.

Repair Verification:
Had remodeling or repair work done? I inspect it to ensure quality standards and adherence to your specifications. This is not a code-compliance check, but a thorough inspection of proper completion, materials, installation, and workmanship.

Home Energy Inspection:
I use an advanced energy calculator to estimate your home's yearly energy usage, identify inefficiencies, and recommend energy improvements for potential savings. Your Home Energy Report includes the Home Energy eBook with additional steps to save energy, increase comfort, and protect the environment.

Deck Inspection:
A deck inspection should progress in much the same order as deck construction. Inspectors should start at the bottom. If a deck is deemed unsafe from underneath, the inspector should not walk out onto the deck to inspect decking, handrails, etc. The inspector should stop and report the safety issues.
Chimney and Fireplace Inspection:
A level-one chimney inspection includes a visual check of the fireplace and chimney without any special equipment or climbing up on the roof. The inspector will come to your house with a flashlight; look for damage, obstructions, creosote buildup, and soot; and tell you if the chimney requires sweeping.
Monster Free Inspection:
Make moving less stressful for your children with my Monster-Free Inspection and Certificate. They can join me as I inspect under their bed, in closets, and anywhere they want, ensuring there are no monsters. Request this service during scheduling, and I'll bring a personalized Monster-Free Certificate.
